Random:GO has nothing to do with those sites that steal your money for cheap skins. Our tournament is a small tournament for fun! We don't require you to show up with all your worldly possessions at a LANParty, instead you can play at home from your own computer! That's right! It's an online tournament! Not a LAN one!
"What makes our tournament so different?"
The point of our tournament is that you can't join with your own prebuilt team! Just like a random Competitive match, you're matched with random people (only this time outside your skill groups). Once we reach a max of 40 people, teams will be made from a random name picker. Each five players picked will be a team.
"Is there a cash prize?"
No there is not. The tournament is free to join and is purely for fun. We will do skin giveaways during the main streams however! If you have a twitch account, then join up in the chat during the match (even your own) to get a chance at some amazing prizes!
"What's the Map Pool?"
The Map Pool consists of The Official Competitive Maps: Dust II, Nuke, Mirage, Inferno, Cobblestone, Overpass, and Cache.
"How will matches play out?"
Matches will play as a major tournament. Two teams will face each other in a Best of Three Maps. The first map will be picked by the team on the top of the bracket. The second map will be picked by the team on the bottom of the bracket. Then the final map, if needed, will be randomly picked by one of our spectating admins or announcers.
"All the 'team' slots are filled up. How can I still join?"
Due to how I stupidly set up the tournament, there will still be slots still open, unless those are actually full teams signing up. But there are 80 slots total for players (16 teams). You can join by contacting me at [email protected] with the subject Random:GO Entry. Ensure that you put your steam ID and who you are / how good you are in CS:GO into the email!
