Rules
Games will default to EU server in the case of a dispute. If both teams wish to play on a separate server that is allowed.
Should a player be late, failure to be ready 15 minutes after the start of a match, the player will forfeit the first game of the match. If the player is 25 minutes late the player will forfeit the second game of the match.
Players most cooperate with official attempts to broadcast matches.
Players may request five minute breaks.
Disconnects and computer failure
The HOTS recover game from replay feature will be used in case of a disconnect due to technical failure. If for some reason recovering a game should not work, see following rule.
In the case of game recovery being impossible for whatever reason: If either player disconnects from a game due to technical failure and the game is heavily favoured to the extent that the game would definitely been won one player an administrator may rule the game in favour of said player. Should the game be too close to call, it will simply be replayed.
Veto/Pick Order
The player in the upper bracket will always be the first to veto.
The same player will always be the first to pick map.
Players will veto every other map until 3 maps remain, and then pick in which order the remaining 3 maps are to be played.
Chatting
No excessive chatting is allowed in the game. If the need to chat occurs the players must be straight to the point and polite. Ideally the only chat in each game will be in the start and when a player surrenders the game.
No chat is ever permitted from a player to an outside party during a tournament match, or from an outside party to the player, unless the outside party is an administrator.
After three in-game minutes, typing “GG” in the game means that the player surrenders, and the opponent wins. After it is typed the player must leave the game immediately.
Busy status and automatic busy settings must be used during tournament play.
